May update from the UK
Coming to you from Maidstone England this morning... a cool cloudy morning to catch up on some admin and life tasks before heading back on the road to Margate
Lucy Farrell and I have been having an amazing tour in the UK, with many special places, stages, experiences... thanks to all our fans and friends who have come out so far. We are halfway through our month long tour!
The beauty of this big old island is astounding - flowers are everywhere in every colour. Flowers I won't see at home in PEI for weeks or months to come.
I was so glad to get back to Wales after about 15 years since the first and last time. I also finally got to see the majestic city of Edinburgh and took the ferry from Mallaig to one of the most special places I've ever been - Knoydart. BEAUTY!
Also a special shout out to Foy at Anchor Folk Club in Leigh-on-Sea for winning "Best Singing Crowd" for the first half of our tour. Will they come out champions over all??? Only time will tell!

Also! We have made a little EP that is only available on CD at our shows. Lucy did the artwork for it and it's so sweet... a little token of this epic trip. I know most of you reading this are not in England, but we will be doing a few shows in June in PEI for the Festival of Small Halls if you are nearby.
Many more things to update you on, but I'm in UK tour mode, so I'll fill you in on those things later.
I'm back on the Island in June, and then it's festival season, including Festival of Small Halls, Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival and Summerfolk (Owen Sound, Ontario).
