Writing to you today from self-isolation land.
This is a time that we will never forget.
This is a defining moment in our society.
And though it seems like it will last forever, it won’t. Someday we’ll go back to life, some version of it. We’ll be able to gather with friends and go to work.
It’s hard to believe I spent less than 48 hours in England, what a short but very sweet time. After my flight from Halifax was delayed by 14 hours, I arrived at Heathrow and was met by the lovely duo Terry and Vicki who were my gracious hosts in Sevenoaks. Saturday morning, we took the […]
Hello everyone and Happy Holidays! I am just back from a beautiful little Ontario tour full of friends, food and fun, and now am enjoying the snow in PEI and the coziness of the woodstove. We are done touring for the year, but will start up again in January with a PIE OFF at the […]
Well, although it’s not official, summer has ended. I woke early this morning to beautiful thunder, lightening and a downpour of rain. (And the sound of a wet kitten wanting in!) Hello all… I woke up today and realized that I am now waking after the sun has on a regular basis. Thank goodness. And the Canadian air is warming, ever so slightly… maple sugaring is about to begin and I just feel like there is more energy to get things done. Winter has gone by […]
Well, I am back from Ontario, Quebec, Ireland and Nova Scotia. I had an incredibly busy winter and now I’m excited to celebrate the first day of spring!!! Can it be true? It sure doesn’t feel like spring tonight in PEI. The snow is blowing and the ice keeps forming but the moon is out […]
