Let’s Talk, Juno Nods, Touring…

Hello everyone,

It has been a busy last little while for me, plus a very snowy time. Finally winter is here in her full majesty!
Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day – a campaign in support of mental illness and aimed at ending the stigma that surrounds it.
By accident (or not so much), I joined that conversation by writing my last blog post about my father and both his and my struggle with mental health. The Rainnie Brothers at CBC Charlottetown took notice and I was on the radio this morning for an in depth conversation with Matt and I’ll be back in this evening for a chat with his big brother Bruce on Compass, PEI’s TV news program.

On top of that, I found out yesterday that I have been nominated for 2 Juno awards, Canada’s most prestigious music awards. Very exciting and I find myself in good company. Here are the categories I’m in and who I’m up against (because music is a competition!?!?)

  1. Dear Catherine, Please advise how Lois and I can acquire an autographed copy of THE RAVEN’S SUN. In the past, for SILHOUETTE, you graciously accepted our personal check for the CD and for postage. We look forward to your reply. Yours, Chris Buschmann
